Hand Painted Wooden House with Storage - in an American Folk Art Style

About the Item

A charming handmade storage piece in the form of a house with two chimneys. Executed in the American Folk Art style, this is a charming piece that is both decorative and practical. The front swings open to reveal a storage space with a single shelf. The exterior of the piece is hand painted showing a front door flanked by urns containing shrubs. A plaque reading "Home Sweet Home" is shown over the door. Both gables are painted with a flowering tree. Dimensions: Exterior: 16.5"w x 24"h x 8.75"d Interior: 14"w x 8.5"h x 6.5"d (lower) Interior: 14"w x 9.75"h x 6.5"d Condition: Good. Some minor scratches consistent with age and use. The paint is well retained and the piece opens without issue. Shows well, Ready to place.
