Early 19th century Folk Art oil on panels We are proud to offer a delightful, matched pair of early 19th Century oil on panel painted portraits depicting man & women with a naïve look. With a wonderful set of glasses on one table and an inkwell on the other. Framed in a matched pair of later 19th Century gilt frames. A great Folk Art naïve look with charming visual to the reverse a signature is present but unclear. Dimensions: H 21” x W 16” x D 1.5” Material: Oil paint on wooden panels Origin: Unknown Date: 1840 - 1850 Condition: Fair Condition: both examples are aged well but in overall great condition for their age, a natural wear across the painted surface with aged gilt frames. Its strongly suggested to review all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions were unsure.
