Here is Loughlin's Iconic Brute painting done on found wooden-board circa mid-1980s. When Robert was experimenting with his early work, he would apply pennies to the painting and which he would then paint over to give an unusual mixed-media feel.

Robert was a dear friend and we have always been champions of his work, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to find pieces in the open market.
