Miniature Evening Stars Quilt


Absolutely twinkling miniature Evening Stars quilt. Each block is just 2 3/4" in diameter and abuts the star next to it making a total of 600 stars. It is well pieced and quilted with chevrons in the borders. They are done with a beautiful variety of late 19th century fabrics. It is in excellent unwashed condition. There are a few tiny, unobtrusive brown spots on the border. Measurements are 80" x 85". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880. There is velcro sewn to all four sides of the back so it is ready to be hung.
