20th Century Moba figure from Togo

About the Item

This is a large carved wood Moba figure from Togo. It would have been used for ritual purposes and ceremonies but now its simplicity makes it hugely decorative. It is made from solid timber and is mounted on a black stand. Its a lovely pale colour and very tactile. African art always works so well in both modern and traditional interiors. Height 90cm Width 15cm Depth 14cm
