Early 20th century
The folk art carved cocoa pod is naturalistically modeled with two large leaves attached- see the last photo for a photograph of a real plant and leaves.
The melon has a knobby green-brown exterior. The yellow interior exposed with the white seeds shown and with a cut out slice which sits separately by its side.
Dimensions: 6 inches high x 9 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches deep
Condition with typical wear and tear with various minor losses at the exteriors as seen in photos.
