About the Item

A very beautifully made, organic natural wood-turned weed vase by famed American / California (Mendocino, CA) artist/ sculptor Doug Ayers. This work has such a great heft and texture to it. Wonderfully designed. Signed by Ayers on the base. Ayers work is becoming hard to find. He died tragically young. Would be a great addition to any collectors of Ayers or other Mid-Century Modern woodturner works (Bob Stocksdale, Rude Osolnik, Hap Sakwa, etc.) or make for a perfect eye-catching stand-alone accent piece in about any setting. Dimensions: 5.5" high, 5.5" wide, 5" deep.
