Folk Art exhibition sign, reverse painted glass with reserved text backed in gold and silver crinkled foil reading "Exhibition / of / Paintings / on / Glass / By Edgar F. Curtis" Edgar F. Curtis (1882-1963) was born and worked in Salem, MA, where he created pictures using eglomise techniques incorporation paint and colored foils. It is likely he created this sign for exhibits of his work.
