Convex enamel plaque, André Stouls, Lutterbach beer, 1648, ALS Strasbourg
About the Item
This enamel plaque is typical of the 1930s, with a very geometric design.
It is signed André Stouls 21, and was manufactured by Email ALS. The marking reads "STRASBOUP," with some letters faded over time — originally "Strasbourg."
The Lutterbach Brewery, which closed in 1968, reopened its doors in 2018.
The colors have remained vibrant; however, there are enamel losses in several areas. Rust is visible along the edges, along with stains and micro-scratches on the enamel. Nevertheless, the plaque remains in a fair state of preservation.
Our numerous photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the piece.
For a detailed view of the condition, please examine the photos carefully.
