Early 20th Century Large Noah’s Ark A larger than usual example of an early 20th Century hand carved / painted pine Noah’s ark. With lifting roof and sectioned lifting central hull, where the animals would have stayed. This example is without animals unfortunately but still a lovely decorative object. Size in inches: H 16” x W 7.5” x D 27” Period: Early-20th Century Material: Wood Origin: English Condition: Aged Condition Report 1. The roof section has been added later and recently waxed to protect the pine wood. 2. Worn surfaces and missing painted sections as shown. 3. No breaks or structural damage. 4. No animals are sold as part of this sale. Completely solid in structure and form, a deep natural patina across the item due to age and obvious use. This is an old artifact dated to early part of the 20th Century, so expect this to reflect in its condition. Please pay attention to all the photos as they aim to show the condition of the item as best as possible in natural light.
