Hand-Wound Nagaland "Coral Glass" 10 Strand Beaded Necklace, India c. 1900

About the Item

A 10-strand necklace hand-crafted from red-orange Naga beads from the early 20th century and strung with natural fibers. Necklaces such as these were a status symbol and an important item amidst women dowry.
