Set of 4 Plains Tribe American Flag Motif Ceremonial Beadwork Strips  USA, circa 1900s A rare collection of four Plains Tribe American Flag motif ceremonial beadwork strips dating back to the 1900s. Each piece is a stunning example of Native American craftsmanship, likely used as part of headdresses or clothing appliques. The top two strips feature fine beadwork, depicting imagery of the American flag in subtle detail, measuring 10.5 inches wide by 1 inch high and 10.25 inches wide by 1 inch high, respectively. These pieces evoke a unique sense of cultural heritage and pride. The third strip showcases geometric beadwork, measuring 16 inches wide by 1 inch high, displaying the tribe's mastery of traditional designs. The bottom strip, measuring 12 inches wide by 1.5 inches high, adds a unique dimension with its blend of colors and patterns. This antique 19th-century Crow beaded blanket strip is a stunning example of Plains Indian craftsmanship. Constructed from native tanned hide and adorned with glass trade beads and red stroud cloth (trade cloth), this piece features intricate beadwork in light blue, yellow, red, dark blue, and white beads arranged in geometric and bar designs.
