19th Century French Napoleon III Carved Bleached Oak Four-Light Chandelier

About the Item

Decorate a dining room or a den with this elegant antique wooden chandelier. Crafted in France circa 1880, the light fixture is round in shape and features four arms of equal lengths around the thick intricately carved central stem; each curled arm is decorated with hand carved acanthus leaf decor and has been rewired to US standard; each light is further dressed with decorative wax candle sleeve covers. The intricate stem is embellished with carved floral motifs and features a large decorative cone shaped finial at the base embellished with grape motif. The Napoleon III style chandelier is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and adorns a rich patinated bleached finish, in addition to wonderful and detailed carvings. Measures: 25"W x 25"D x 30"H
