20th Century Italian Murano Transparent Glass Two-Tier Five-Light Chandelier

About the Item

Make your home shine with this splendid and shimmering 1940s transparent mouth-blown Murano glass and giltwood flush mount ceiling lamp. This five lights and two-tier pendant light could be attributable to the manufacture of Barovier and Toso, legendary glassmakers masters and designers of Murano. The first tier of this eyecatcher pendant lighting is made up of a semicircular cup masterfully worked where five trimmed horn-shaped swirl and scroll glass arms are housed. The cup has a molded round - shaped giltwood final. Each arm is enriched by a bubbled large drop transparent glass pendant. The second round flat base higher cup is adorned with five swirl and scroll Murano glass spirals. All mounted on a gilded molded wood stem with gold leaf finish. The high quality textured tube-shaped arms beautifully reflecting the light. A perfect balance of elements, this chandelier will add glamour to any interior and will perfectly fit all decor periods. This Art Deco lamp is in unbelievable good vintage condition. Cleaned, newly wired for EU standards and ready to use.
