About the Item
This exceptional 7 light chandelier is one great light. It has much to offer. For starters it is American, and you don't see much commitment to art nouveau lighting of this quality that isn't Austrian or French. If you look at the measurements it is quite small and will in any setting, and yet gives off much light having 7 arms. These are unquestionably the original shades. The fitter size to accept the shade is not standard and very small. The shades are a perfect fit in size and style. They include frosted mica and not glass, giving a nice cool soft light. There are 3 finials on the body that turn and turn off 2 lights at at a time, as my hand shows.
A more graceful quality American, totally original art nouveau chandelier will be hard to find.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Several shades have some damage to the mica. It's not like glass that can shatter. It is not distracting and in no way hurts the quality or value of this exceptional chandelier. I was just surprised to see that all 7 shades were there and intact.
