Antique French Amber Color Alabaster and Brass Pendant Light, circa 1920

About the Item

An adorable French pendant light featuring an alabaster shade in a lovely orange hue with gray and cream veining. The lampshade - bowl is suspended from three ornate brass chains, which attach to the dome with finely made satyr head brass hardware. When lit, alabaster emanates a warm, sun-like glow in a rich amber color. Ornate, with leaf decor decorated, brass ceiling rose. One new socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb. Dimensions: height: circa 48 cm / 18.88 in; diameter: 30 cm / 11.81 in. It is in good condition with some typical signs of use and aging of alabaster. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and installed by a qualified electrician.
