Carved marble-like antique French, three light alabaster ceiling lamp. This classy antique chandelier originates from the earliest years of twentieth century France and to have found it in this beautiful condition more than made our day. The alabaster bowl has some natural hairlines and the hand carved leaf patterns are amongst the prettiest we have seen. Also, because the mat-beige surface looks a lot like the surface of 17th century carved marble. And with the light shining through it this beautifully hand carved natural mineral stone pendant too radiates a beauty and a warm light that cannot be captured in a photo. Those who have already purchased alabaster fixtures from us, always tell us that these pendants are even more beautiful in real life than in our images. And they are. Combined with the three, perfect condition gilt bronze decorations, the gilt brass chains and the stylish gilt bronze canopy this French antique creates an atmosphere that is second to none and they all add to the grandeur and elegance of this work of beauty.
