Very cool, metal and inlaid 'chunky glass' light fixture from the early 1900s. This great looking and artistic workmanship pendant from the earliest years of the 20th century is another one of our recent great finds. With early 20th century lighting being one of our specialities we are always looking to find unique fixtures that we have never seen before. This stylish specimen from circa 1910 perfectly fits that bill. What makes this hand-crafted light fixture extra special are ofcourse the casually inlaid and large chunks of transparent glass combined with the smaller stained glass pieces in a variety of colors. Both with the light switched on and off, the uniquely shaped pieces of glass inside the folded metal makes this a work of art on your ceiling. We think this light will look great in a hallway, but also on a landing or in a space for rest and relaxation. No matter where you decide to use it, this quality crafted light brings class and style in your home like no modern light fixture ever could. Mind you, this work of lighting art is also rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it easily takes a bulb of up to 80 watts. The original and stylish canopy too is great looking and in superb condition and it will easily cover any size junction box. Finally, thanks to the original metal hook inside the canopy mounting this rare light is child's play. If you like this pendant as much as we do then you will love our price.
