This early Arts & Crafts pendant has an aesthetic beauty that you don't find anymore in this day and age. It has the most pleasing to the eye shape and colors and the handcrafted and partially bronzed brass has a marvelous patina. This unique light fixture started its life as a candle lantern and we believe this may have been a sanctuary lamp at the entrance of a church or monastery. The gilt brass is beautifully hand-crafted and detailed, but the unique art glass shade with its stylized, flower patterns and amazing colors is what makes this antique truly special.
