Barovier, Glass Chandelier, Murano

About the Item

Extraordinary glass chandelier Structure consisting of a long cylindrical shaft with a large cup at the bottom with a diameter of 50 cm. and a second smaller one with, respectively, six and three lights. Decoration made with sixteen curled leaves in the lower bowl; twelve hanging leaves and six facing upward in the upper bowl. c. 130×80 cm. Murano, Barovier manufactory, 1939 The chandelier came from an elegant Lucchese mansion and came into the possession of the previous owners as a wedding gift in 1939. Extraordinary object in terms of rarity, quality, elegant workmanship and state of preservation. Due to the size and fragility of the item, we plan to arrange for dedicated shipping with rigid packaging--within a wooden crate. The cost for shipping will be calculated based on the place of destination.
