About the Item
Extraordinary glass chandelier
Structure consisting of a long cylindrical shaft with a large cup at the bottom with a diameter of 50 cm. and a second smaller one with, respectively, six and three lights.
Decoration made with sixteen curled leaves in the lower bowl; twelve hanging leaves and six facing upward in the upper bowl.
c. 130×80 cm.
Murano, Barovier manufactory, 1939
The chandelier came from an elegant Lucchese mansion and came into the possession of the previous owners as a wedding gift in 1939.
Extraordinary object in terms of rarity, quality, elegant workmanship and state of preservation.
