Couple of still-life paintings by Oscar Sogaro - XX century
Couple of oil-on-cardboard paintings by the Italian artist Oscar Sogaro (Dolo, 1888 – Venezia, 1967).
The melon still life was made in 1932, while the watermelon one was painted the following year, in 1933.
Both artworks carry the artist's signature at the bottom left corner.
The overall condition of the paintings is excellent.
The frames, which have small flaws, are included in the sale.
