Continental 19th Century Louis XV Style Iron and Crystal Chandelier

About the Item

A wonderful continental early 19th century Louis XV st. gilt iron, crystal, six light manor style chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a beautiful and uniquely cut solid crystal ball below fine gilt metal leaves. Branching out from the elegant crystal central fut are elegant scrolled gilt metal movements adorned with clear and amethyst colored crystals. Each of the delicately scrolled arms also display fine crystals and striking unique cut crystal bobeches and gilt metal foliate candle cups. Above are acanthus leaf and scrolled movements also decorated with superb crystal pendants and elegant rosettes. All original gilt throughout.
