Dark Bronze and Crystal Chandelier

About the Item

This chandelier is made with a dark bronze frame, which has then been draped with beautiful crystal plaquettes. A crystal ball hangs from the finial. The chandelier is topped with a crown of curved bronze arms supporting crystal plaquettes, all of which rest atop a crystal stem.

This stately and stunning Restauration chandelier features a striking combination of patinated and burnished bronze. The 19th century French antique piece was originally created for gas, but has been fully converted to electric. Note the six finial-adorned arms ending in a shape inspired by Aladdin’s lamp. The vase shaped center is stunning in its matte black middle bookended by fluted, golden elements at top and bottom. Uniquely, a collection of Egyptian inspired feline feet surround the finial at bottom.
