This finely crafted early 19th-century Louis XVI-style ormolu chandelier exemplifies the elegance and neoclassical influences of the period. Gilt in gold, the chandelier is in amazing condition, showcasing the luxurious finish characteristic of this style. The design features graceful arms adorned with winged cherubs lifting flowering vines that terminate in candlelight. Cherubs were a favored motif of this era, symbolizing love and desire.
