About the Item
This attractive French iron chandelier is composed of 8 raised S-scroll motifs holding lights around its perimeter. Its central flat scrolling surface is ornamented with C-scrolls, oblong circles, and S-scrolls, with a gilt metal floret center piece. The upper canopy is done in the same motifs and is connected via a series of chains and loops. The construction is all iron connected by bands. It dates to the first half of the 1900s, and we have had it professionally wired, so it is ready for installation.
