About the Item
A beautiful Viennese pendant lamp in the form of a bouquet of flowers by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll, Vienna, Austria, from the middle of the century, around 1960 (late 1950s or early 1960s).
Emil Stejnar designed this kind of light in 1955 for the Viennese coffeehouse 'Ohne Pause Espresso' at the famous street Graben in the first district.
The lamp is in very good condition and ready to use.
It is made of brass, white lacquered metal and hand cut crystal glass beads. The fixture has five sockets for small Edison screw base bulbs or LEDs type E14. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. It also can be used with an external dimmer.
The height of the body without stem is ca. 18" (45 cm).
