About the Item
A large Sputnik chandelier designed by Emil Stejnar and manufactured in midcentury, circa 1970.
This beautiful light fixture is made of a 24-carat gold plated / gilt / gild brass frame which is decorated with cut glass in the form of beads and stars. This lamp is also called 'Pusteblume' (engl. dandelion or blowball) or 'snowflake'.
Each chandelier has 33 sockets for small Edison screw base bulbs (E14 candelabra). It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada,) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity.
Two lights are available. The price is per fixture. They are sold individually or as pair. Shipping cost depends on number of ordered items.
Diameter/height of body without stem: 22.8 in. (58 cm). The length of the stem can be altered for your needs for free of charge.
The lights are professionally cleaned and ready to use. There is partly little patina on the fittings as well as on the rods of the small baskets decorated with glass beads.
