French Amber Color Alabaster and Bronze Pendant Chandelier, circa 1920
About the Item
A magnificent Neoclassical style amber color alabaster pendant ceiling light fixture with an ornate bronze frame. France, 1920s.
This masterfully carved beautiful alabaster bowl is held by a bronze rim with leaf-shaped attachments and suspended by three ornate bronze chains and a richly, with leaf decor decorated, bronze ceiling rose.
The light shining through the amber color stone is warm and atmospheric and it emanates a beautiful ambiance both when lit and unlit.
One new socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb.
Dimensions: height: 53 cm / 20.86 in; diameter: 41 cm / 16.14 in.
It is in good condition with some typical signs of use and aging of alabaster.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we suggest it be tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
