Italian Florentine Baroque Style Polychrome Wood Chandelier
About the Item
A beautiful chandelier with six lights that was made in the Italian region of Florence, circa 1950. The chandelier is made in polychrome hand carved wood. The chandelier feature C-scrolls acanthus and other Baroque motifs. The color combination of the chandelier is very special and it shows gold leaf gilding, burnt sienna, and petal green. The polychrome was slightly distressed and patinated to enhance the vibrant colors. The luster or chandelier has its original chain and canopy. The light fixtures all have the original cream drip wax candle covers.
The light requires six single E14 screw fit lightbulbs (60Watt max.) LED compatible.
