Large Art Deco Diamond-Shaped White Alabaster Pendant Light Fixture, 1920
About the Item
Large black and dark brown veined conical white alabaster pendant light fixture, France, circa the 1920s.
A stunning Art Deco alabaster pendant ceiling light fixture from circa the 1920s, shaped like a diamond. Beautifully veined and masterfully carved white alabaster bowl with conical tapered tip suspended by metal chains, brass fasteners, and a matching alabaster ceiling canopy.
The light shining through the stone with dark brown and black veins is atmospheric, emanating a beautiful ambiance when lit and unlit.
Three new sockets for E27 (E26) size light bulbs.
Dimensions: height: circa 56 cm / 22.04 in; diameter: 51 cm / 20.07 in.
In good condition with slight typical signs of use and aging of alabaster.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we always suggest a qualified electrician install it.
