About the Item
Large pendant lamp from the 1920s - 1940s with a marbled glass shade and rope suspension in good condition. The lamp has a large shade with a scalloped top edge that opens slightly outward. The shade has an elegant design as well as orange and brown marbling and is in very good condition except for a small chip on the upper edge – see detail photo. Due to the scalloped edge, this flaw is not very noticeable. The socket is connected to the shade via a brass suspension around the edge, and the cable runs upward in a rope. The ropes are screwed to the shade with brass balls. The lamp is mostly in its original condition except for minor details on the suspension, fairly well preserved, and functional*.
