Large Finnish Design Flush Mount Brass & White Textile, model 75-002, 1950s
About the Item
Vintage ceiling lamps like this one were made by different companies in Finland in the 1950s. Itsu along with Taito, Idman and Orno were some of the leading lighting manufacturers in mid-century Finland that produced such lamps. This specific lamp model can be found for example in the Stockman st catalogue from the mid 1950s under model number 75-002 (photo attached). This lamp is a prime example of Finnish mid century design, simple and functional yet elegant. Due to its plain look this lamp can easily blend into any number of interiors.
The lamp is fully restored and reupholstered. Please notice before and after restoration photos.
