Late 19th Century Gilt Wrought Iron Medieval Style Four-Light Chandelier

About the Item

Late 19th century gilt wrought iron medieval style four-light chandelier An impressive and heavy medieval-style castle design gilt wrought iron four-light chandelier from the late 19th century. The large decorative wooden candle sleeves are covered with wax to make an impression of old candles. Electrified in the 20th century, now it has four new sockets for E-14 size light bulbs. Dimensions: height: 68 cm / 26.77 in; width: 29 x 29 cm / 11.41 x 11.41in. In good condition with some signs of aging. Some loss of gilding and wax cover on the wooden candle sleeves. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
