About the Item
This stunning and bold chandelier was handblown in Murano, Italy- the islands off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative glass production. It features ten tiers of cerulean blue discs with clear perimeters that taper at its top and bottom, artfully concealing the bulbs within, supported by a lustrous chrome frame. This fixture- with its beautiful blue hue resembling the water color of the Amalfi coast- works equally well as an accent fixture and the main event, both illuminating (and visually holding court) in a large room with ease. While it provides a soft and diffuse radiance, it is also plenty luminous with eleven Edison based bulbs, providing up to 1100 watts of light. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
