Space Age Lucite Chrome Sputnik Chandelier

About the Item

Chrome and Lucite space age chandelier. Circa late 1960s-70s. A chrome plated sphere with outreaching arms that end in bubble filled lucite balls. The middle portion is adorned with light bulbs. The lucite balls do not light up. A light fixture that makes a statement. The approximate width of the fixture is 19" diameter. The approximate height of the whole fixture from base to the ring at the top of the stem is 26.5". Good overall working condition. Some light cosmetic blemishes. There are no visible cracks or chips to the acrylic/Lucite balls. The chandelier retains a plug with a short amount of chain and wire to swag. It can also be re-wired for hardwiring if one is compelled to do so.
