Three Opaline and Brass Ceiling Lights, BAG Turgi, Switzerland, 1930's

About the Item

Made with generosity and finesse, the brass structure proudly supports the elegant opaline globe to pleasantly diffuse light throughout the room. BAG, understand the “Schweizerische Bronzewarenfabrik AG” or even “Swiss Factory of Bronze Articles”. A century-old company that closed its doors in 1998 but which reached its peak in the 1920s distributed its lighting throughout Europe, from Paris to Milan via Manchester, to illuminate hotels, streets, stadiums and even the offices of hundreds of companies. The logo is engraved on the socket.
