Truly artistic & extremely rare, midcentury made, fern plant in wicker-like basket chandelier. If you are looking for a striking and extraordinary light fixture to grace your living space then this French work of lighting art could be the one for you. This delicately handcrafted, four-light chandelier dates back to the 1950s, its design is truly remarkable and we could not find another one anywhere in the world. With only a handful of French designers and makers that were good and creative enough to hand-craft this piece, we feel Maison Bagues were most likely to have been the makers. The realistic and beautifully handforged, wrought iron fern leafs are spread in a truly natural and asymmetrical manner. The wicker-like, brass metal basket that holds the striking fern plant too is in superb condition and the combination of colors and materials makes this chandelier truly stand out from anything you ever saw. The rattan-like metal frame that holds the basket is another feature that makes this chandelier extra attractive. Both with the light switched on and off the presence of this French work-of-art-light-fixture will single handedly transform the atmosphere of the room in a way that no modern fixture ever could. If you already have a place or space in mind for her then maybe you should be her next custodian. This rare light too will arrive fully rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the country where she will be used and enjoyed and for our photos we used a large 70 watt bulb in the middle and three smaller ones of 40 watts each around it. Thanks to the chain we (or you) can also adjust the height to one that is ideal for you (or your client). The metal hook inside the height adjustable canopy allows this pendant to be mounted tight to your ceiling in just a few minutes.
