Vintage Venetian Silk Fortuny Hanging Light/ Chandelier
About the Item
Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo (Italian, 1871-1949), 20th century. A large exquisitely stenciled Fortuny silk shade that has been hand stretched over a wire frame. Multiple braided cords are supporting the exterior rim and adorned with beaded accented. Illuminated by 3 bulbs/ sockets in the center which is suspended by a braided silk wire. The entire chandelier terminates with a hand blown glass pendant to the underside.
