About the Item
The Welles Central Chandelier 12 brings an impressive sense of scale and structure, making it the perfect statement piece for a large space. Munge’s capsule collection comprises a Central Chandelier in three different sizes, alongside an Arm Sconce.
Studio Munge has developed a beautiful narrative infused with dynamic and bold fashion references inspired by Rhythmic Dance. The original Welles was deconstructed and rebuilt using a new support system inspired by the imagery, thus creating a significant visual divergence and a reenergised dialogue between the interconnected elements.
While the fixture’s volume is radically different, the modular qualities remain with an ability to extend stems for extra tall ceilings and multiply the globes for larger spaces. This flexibility makes it a truly versatile and playful product inviting designers to create bespoke configurations.

With backgrounds in architecture, industrial design as well as fashion design, Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler bring a rich set of skill, creativity and style to the furniture world as GABRIEL SCOTT. Since their first collaboration in early 2004, the Canadian brothers-in law have designed and manufactured exclusive pieces for the trade market throughout North America. In 2012, they launched GABRIEL SCOTT, a chic and contemporary line of furniture and lighting fixtures; accessible to the retail and commercial market, the line remains true to the unique signature style that made them thrive in the trade market. All GABRIEL SCOTT pieces are handmade in the Montreal Studio and are stocked-to-ship from Upstate New York. Since 2014, the exclusive line has been available to the general public at their flagship showroom, located in the beautifully restored Brewster Carriage house at the corner of Broome and Mott Streets in Manhattan.
