1940's Italian brass floor lamp by Arredoluce Monza

About the Item

A meticulously restored elegantly crafted brass Italian floor lamp by Arredoluce Monza from the 1940s was restored with a new fabric shade identical to the original. The wiring is original and professionally checked. Arredoluce Monza was an Italian lighting design and manufacturing company that played a significant role in the mid-20th century design movement. The company was founded in Monza, Italy, in 1943 by Angelo Lelli, an esteemed lighting designer and engineer. Arredoluce quickly gained recognition for its innovative and artistic approach to lighting design. Under Lelli's creative direction, the company produced a wide range of lighting fixtures that combined functionality, aesthetics, and high-quality craftsmanship. Arredoluce's designs were known for their sleek lines, attention to detail, and use of premium materials. One of Arredoluce's notable contributions to lighting design was the use of brass as a primary material. The company utilized brass in creative ways, combining it with other materials like glass, wood, and fabric to create unique and visually striking lighting fixtures. Arredoluce's commitment to quality and craftsmanship earned them a reputation for producing lighting fixtures that were not only beautiful but also functional and long-lasting. Their designs were sought after by both residential and commercial clients, and their lamps were often used in prestigious projects and interior design settings. Bulb: e27 E27 and E26 standards are interchangeable, meaning a European E27 base will fit in a US E26 socket. If you live in the US, a simple adapter will do. ------------------- We’re an exhibition space and an online destination established by the passionate art director behind Jonathan Amar design studio.
