About the Item

A distinctively stylish Art Deco standing lamp made of metal with a nickel-plated base, stem and lampshade an uplighter with 3 sockets for E 27 sockets, designed by Wilhelm.H. Gispen for the Gispen manufacture. The floor lamp gives a nice atmospheric light to any interior. Willem Hendrik Gispen was a Dutch industrial designer, best known for his Giso lamps and serially produced functionalist steel-tube furniture. He studied design at the Academy for Visual Arts and Technical Science in Rotterdam at the architecture department.
