About the Item
The 'Bark' floor lamp is a stunning piece, meticulously hand crafted, moulded and cast in bronze .
The process begins with the careful selection of tree bark from national parks across the U.K. Each delicate piece of bark is layered in wax before molding and casting. To preserve its organic appearance and natural texture, the outer layer of the bark is retained.
Using the lost wax method, each piece is individually molded and cast in bronze.
The assembly of the lamp involves soldering the cast pieces together, forming structure adhering to the designer's vision. The unique base, continuing the lamp's form, is crafted and soldered to create a tripod shape.
Finished in striking gold patina the floor lamp can be patinated in other finishes upon an order. The floor lamp can be wired for use in the USA, Europe, or the UK, with pricing adjusted accordingly.
