About the Item
A floor lamp with a tri foot base featuring tapered fluting which resonates in the art deco movement. The hilt is realized in a series of subtly contrasting brass and bronze bands. This design is also inspired by the mid-century French Neoclassical movement, specifically in the manner of Giacometti and Quinet.
The non ferrous detailing has been lightly antiqued while the main steel body has been oxidized prior to a statuary bronze patination using our unique formula. The whole piece is then sealed with a satin clear finish and waxed. As with all handmade objects, slight variations in the finished surface are to be expected if not sought out.
In total, this piece weighs 12lbs and the height of the base measures out at slightly over 56" before the stem and harp are attached on top.
This lamp is sold without a shade as the designer believes this important detail should be dictated by its specific room placement. The lamp is furnished with an adjustable (10"-14") harp and a dimmable (0-150 Watts) socket to enable further customization.
