An iconic Danish Modern Le Klint 325 floor lamp designed by Vilhelm Wohlert in 1957 and crafted in Oregon pine. This particular vintage version is from the 1960s have had one owner, and is in perfect condition. It has practically no marks and come with the original shade, now slight yellow. The Le Klint 325 floor lamp is a masterpiece of Danish design and craftsmanship that will last for many years to come. With its beautiful lines and elegant expression, this lamp will undoubtedly be a timeless addition to any modern or classic interior. The lamp's characteristic cone-shaped shade is hand-folded in the iconic Le Klint style, which provides a beautiful and diffuse light distribution, ideal for creating a relaxing and cozy atmosphere at home. It stands at a height of 150 cm and has a width of 81 cm. It is adjustable in all directions and customizable to different situations and preferences. It is ready to use with an E26/E27 socket, switch on socket and a white cord. ************* Vilhelm Wohlert (1920-2007) was a Danish architect known for his contributions to modernist architecture and design. After graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1944, Wohlert worked as an architect for several prominent firms in Copenhagen. In the mid-1950s, he did work for the lighting manufacturer Le Klint amongst other the Le Klint 325 floor lamp. Wohlert's designs were characterized by their simplicity and functionality, with a focus on clean lines and minimal ornamentation. He believed that good design should be accessible to everyone and created pieces that were both beautiful and practical. Aside from his work at Le Klint, Wohlert also designed several important buildings in Denmark, including the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C. His contributions to modernist architecture and design continue to be celebrated today, and his designs for Le Klint remain some of the most iconic examples of Danish lighting design.
