Italian Post modern Floor Lamp in the Style of Fontana Arte, 80s / 90s

About the Item

A Post Modern floor lamp with a fine and minimalist design, certainly made in Italy between the 80s and 90s with high quality materials but we have no certain information on the authorship of this piece. The materials used, such as the stove enamelled metal used for the stem of the floor lamp and the semicircular discs of ground glass in Nile green colour, undoubtedly recall the production of a historic Italian brand in the production of furnishing accessories: Fontana Arte The architectural shape of this postmodern floor lamp makes it a furnishing element even when turned off, but once turned on, the walls are painted in splendid pastel colours, the glass discs set in the structure are illuminated and a warm and intimate atmosphere is created in the room . The floor lamp supports a halogen bulb and is equipped with a dimmer to regulate the intensity of the light. The structure of the fire-painted floor lamp has a rough texture and the color of the graphite gray enamel has small streaks that reflect the light. Two chromed steel supports depart from the stem which support the light point, always housed in a metal structure, painted like the stem, which has a geometric shape reminiscent of a paper origami. The lamp, as shown in the photo, is working. Reach out for any additional questions.

Mid Century Italian Ashtray and Perpetual Calendar in the Style of Fontana Arte
By Fontana Arte
Located in Roma, IT
it is an object from other times, not only because it was produced more than sixty years ago but because the calendar, with the advent of technology, is an object that was previously in disuse. This Calendar, which can be dated between the 1950s and 1960s, has the particularity of never "expiring" and of being, as the name suggests, Perpetual. There is no year but only days and months which, printed on rolled paper, can be changed indefinitely thanks to those little black knobs. Certainly produced in Italy, this vintage table calendar...
