A magnificent Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) Chinese temple altar pagoda fashioned as a large one-of-a-kind sculptural floor lamp.
Exquisitely hand-crafted in China in the 19th century, the exceptionally executed intricately detailed architectural pagoda sculpture features elaborate parcel gilt, lacquered, pierced and hand carved wood decoration, ornate figural dragon motif, set to a later fitted pedestal stand with outstanding ornamentation. Professionally electrified with interior light that illuminates the entire structure. A truly magnificent folk art work - statement piece, sure to add whimsical elegance, warmth, sophisticated cultural interest, and rich historical depth to any space!
