Unique Pair of Bronze, Rock Crystal and Amethyst Torcheres

About the Item

Unique The pair of monumental French bronze column torchieres with acanthus leaf gilt bronze mounts, supporting two tiers of acanthus and scroll cast candle arms, all raised on grotesque head mounted tripartite base with paw feet surmounted on a beautiful solid black marble base. Hung with 3 rock crystal balls on each of the faces. The double upper crowns are sumptuously hung with large rock crystal plaques and amethyst drops topped with rock crystal drip pans, bobeches and rock crystal candle tubes. The lower waist features a rock crystal diamond and miniature plaque embellishment. 16 lights on each unit. This spectacular pair would grace any stately home or private palace.
