Venini floor lamp model n° 529 attributed to Carlo Scarpa, 1942 Rare Model n° 529 floor lamp often attributed to Carlo Scarpa for Venini 1942. A masterpiece of early 1940's Venetian glass craftsmanship. Base and structure in transparent "Rigato tondo" murano glass. Diameter of the base 36 cm. Excellent condition without any chips or scratches. The lamp has been rewired and the shade has been renewed in cream white silk according to the original specifications. An identical model was exhibited in the Venini Luce 1921–1975 exhibition at Le Stanze del Vetro in Venice, Italy Published in: - Venini, catalogo blu, foglio 178/D - A.
