About the Item

One of a kind and truly attractive, three light alabaster flushmount. This unique and extra large antique light fixture comes with a stunningly polished alabaster shade. With the black veins being as evenly divided as they are (among the best we ever saw) and also with some more translucent, whiter veins and patches this shade has everything that makes antique alabaster lights so desirable. Both on and off this XL flush mount with its unique patterns inside the stunning mineral stone really is unlike anything you ever saw and with three sockets inside the shade you can always create the perfect light for every occasion. You can simply mount this pendant tight to your (client's) ceiling via the three screw holes in the strengthened and nickel plated brass canopy. Since we cannot mount all the light fixtures that we sell to our ceilings like this (we would have no ceiling left), we created a hook to be able to shoot our images for you. This hook was not ideal and therefor this superb flush mount is not hanging straight in all of our images. By the way, you can first screw the canopy and stem (with the sockets attached) to your ceiling and after that you can attach the XL shade by screwing on the removable/unscrewable nickel plated brass finial at the bottom. This rare size and awesome light fixture is ideal for a large entry hall, a larger kitchen area, a dining room or your master bedroom. And because of its timeless design it will look great in all kinds of interiors. It will arrive rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the country where it will go to. When shipped to the USA, you will be able to use 3 regular American E26 screwthread bulbs of up to 100 watts each. Wear consistent with age and use. Two hairlines inside the XL alabaster shade have been professionally reinforced which is why this work of lighting art again is as strong as the day it was handcarved a century ago.
