About the Item

Astonished, massive and elegant Italian flush mount in blown Murano glass colorful statues and brass frame, 1950s. The astonished masterpiece is composed by 17 statues of musicians and farmers, 18 lanterns surrounding the entire brass framework. The brass framework has the shape of a beehive, by looking from the bottom of the chandelier to the top. The basement of the chandelier is connected to the roof, by two glass columns, and in the very center there is a fountain with on the top a mermaid statue. Inside the fountain there are three more lights decorating the chandelier; overall 21 lights are generating a great brightness. Each glass item in this masterpiece is handcrafted in blown Murano glass, in the Venetian Murano island. By giving a look into the statures, you will experience an extreme accuracy in representing the musicians. The chandelier is a unique portrait, thanks to the extremely care on the level of detail starting from the statues, the fountain, and to the framework itself; in addition to that, there is also a special care in the meaning itself of the chandelier. This masterpiece is not a simple equipment to bright a location, but it is a figurative representation of a typical country festival in an old farm, after the harvest time, during 1950s, period when the chandelier is dated. This flush mount s original from Murano manufacture, and it is in excellent conditions, dated 1950s. The flush mount is entirely handcrafted, the brass framework, the design, and each one of the statues in the framework are all handcrafted with the maximum care ever, that only a passionate artisan can ever create. The flush mount s in excellent conditions as documented in the attached picture. It is original in its part, including the framework, that upon request can be re-polished. We offer for free the professional rewiring of the chandelier based on your country's specifications.
